NOTE THAT THERE ARE NOW 28 PLAYERS CONFIRMED for the first RYDER CUP MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP. (GO here: birdiehuntersofbc.freeforums.net/thread/240/riverway-7-25-june-2016)
The PAIRING LIST ABOVE is still subject to FINAL DECISION of the respective Captains/Assistants. So that EVERYONE can join the (FUN) MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP, and since COONEY is originally a member of the BLUE TEAM, I have moved MITCH to the BLUE TEAM. Note that MITCH is a 14 handicap and COONEY is 23. Fifty (50%) of their combined handicap would be 18.5.
TONY (15) and ADAM (18) as a team (for the GOLD) would have a 16.5 RYDER CUP MATCH PLAY handicap.
CUMULATIVE HANDICAP for the BLUES (with this line up) would be 128.5; GOLD = 122.5.

Hi Ernie I will be back Wednesday and will be available to play this Thursday ..let me know if you gave room to place me Thanks Subhash Right now there are 28 confirmed players (7 groups) but judging from past experience, this group seldom gives absolute certainty for attendance. I will text you one way or another!

As of June 6 at 6:36, HAN sent an email showing his (and John's) choice for this Thursday match.
Here is the graphical illustration of the proposed matches. Focus on two things:
- The last column (HANDICAP DIFFERENTIAL) and
- Missing unassigned players

Corrected file:
NOTE, Lawrence, that with this pairing, your combined handicap with Cooney is 49. If the team leaders decide to pair MITCH with ADAM or TONY, you are matched against (MITCH - 10 + ADAM - 18) at 28; MITCH 10 + TONY 15 at 25. You and Cooney better get Hank Haney give you a crash course (49 vs. 28 or 25).
